In the last ten years 270 new oil discoveries and 156 new gas discoveries where made in Egypt and in Egyptian waters. Many for the world largest petroleum companies have been active in Egypt for many years. Now many smaller oil and gas companies as well as oil and gas maintenance company are interested the Egyptian petroleum's sector.
