Nothing is Rotten in the State of Denmark
Denmark, Finland and New Zealand are the world’s most corruption-free states according to Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index.
Denmark is again among the least corrupt nations of the world
Once again Denmark tops Transparency Internationals list as one of least corruption countries in the world. With a score of 90 points out of 100 Denmark tops the Corruption Perceptions Index 2012. This time the no. 1 spot is joined with Finland and New Zealand.
The Corruption Perceptions Index
The internationally recognised institution Transparency International's annually publishes The Corruption Perceptions Index. The index indicates the perceived corruption level in most countries of the world.
Currently 176 countries listed in the Corruption Perceptions Index. At the top of the corruption-free scale you will find countries like Sweden, Singapore and Switzerland alongside Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.
At the bottom of the list you will find countries like Myanmar, Sudan, Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia.
