Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international economic organisation. OECD's main purpose is to stimulate economic progress and world trade. OECD provides an economic forum for its 34 members states. In OECD governments can share their experience and work together to seek solutions to common problems.

The following countries are members of OECD: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.

The OECD website offers a lot of useful economic information. On www.oecd.org you can e.g. find economic news, statistics and analysis regarding global economic issues. You will also find a special OECD Trade section with international trade analysis and trade related news both on the internet and on Twitter.
