BNWAS - Daniamant Electronics A/S

BNWAS systems and BNWAS units are provided by Daniamant Electronics A/S. BNWAS is a bridge navigational watch alarm system monitoring bridge activity. BNWAS detects operator disability which could lead to marine accidents.

BNWAS sounds an alarm if e.g. the ship's watch officer falls asleep or is absent for too long a time. Regulations from IMO's Martime Safety Committee (MSC) requires of a Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) to be installed on most cargo and passenger ships.
