OASIS UBL covers a long list of electronic documents for companies and organizations to exchange. In several countries this standard is mandatory by law when dealing with public bodies or publicly owned companies.

The benefit here is that at lot of companies can already work with the standard and it is practically comprehensive and reasonably easy to use. The Works Portal supports the OASIS UBL format and documents can seamless be imported to and exported from the portal in this format making it easy to trade documents electronically between parties.
